October 2006
Ile de France, the authentic and popular brand of French gourmet Brie and goat cheeses, was recently lauded for its superior quality by two of the foremost epicurean magazines in the industry.

In the October 2006 issue of Food & Wine, Ile de France Le Brie was selected as the Best Brie in its “Taste Test: Supermarket Cheese.” Ile de France Goat Cheese was selected the “Top Pick*” by the May 2006 (Issue #78) Tasting Panel of Fine Cooking magazine. In its citation, Fine Cooking said, “Ile de France epitomizes our panelists’ ideal goat cheese: fresh and mildly tangy with a discernible goat-milk flavor and a firm but creamy mouth-feel.”

“We are thrilled that not one, but two, Ile de France products were recognized for their superior taste and quality,” said Emmanuelle Hofer-Louis, Director of Marketing for Ile de France. “We are especially pleased that readers of these two fine magazines will discover what we have known all along: that there really is no comparison to Ile de France in these two particular categories.” Ile de France is available in supermarkets’ specialty cheese aisles and gourmet food shops nationwide.
